I Cor. 15:16 If there is no resurrection of the dead, then Christ has not been raised.

All of the Gospel hinges on this one truth. The thing that sets Christianity apart from all other expressions of faith is the fact that we serve One who not only died for our sins, but One who overcame death. Jesus died, there is no disputing that. History bears it out, Jesus lived and died. BUT, He did not stay dead! By His own power he came back to life! He was seen by many in the flesh before he went back to heaven from whence he came. He walked and talked with his disciples. He ate with them. They proclaimed it to be so and most of them died because they proclaimed it. Jesus became a living presence in the flesh and blood of those who believe in him. Lives are forever changed in His name. People are healed from various diseases in His name. Demons flee in His name. The world is changed in His name. How can all these things be true if Jesus were like all those who have died, still in his grave? In no other name has miracles been performed and lives changed throughout the ages. In no other name is there hope now and forever. Without a living Savior we are the most miserable of all people. Because He lives today we too have eternal life if we believe in him . The resurrection is no myth or fantasy of the mind. Jesus lives today and is seated on the right hand of God. Praise the Lord, we serve a living Savior!

How does this awesome truth apply to marriage?  No matter how dead your marriage may seem there is hope.  Jesus came to breathe life into our souls and lives.  That which once was dead can live again!  Your marriage can come alive again.  It can be like it once was when you first fell in love.  It isn't easy to resurrect a dead marriage, but it can be done.  How?  There are a multitude of wonderful resources available to you.  Seek out a reputable counselor who can help you work through issues that plague your marriage, or find a good book that can offers sound advice on things you can do.  A book that I would encourage you to get is my book, C Through Marriage.  In it you will find solid godly advice on a wide array of topics (48 of them all beginning with C) that will improve the quality of your life and marriage if you follow it.  And above all else, pray.  Take the problems you have to the Lord.  If you and your spouse can do it together, that would be best.  But if that is not feasible, pray alone.  Before anything of significance will change, you must include the Lord in the process.  In and through Christ all things are possible.
